The worst masking tape I have ever used!
Mike R G - 7 days ago
Used when painting window frames. It was ok until I tried to remove it! It tears into small strips and leaves a sticky mess on the window that needed a solvent to get it off!
Dreadful, should not be sold at all B & Q.
Worst masking tape ever

I bought this tape last week along with some paint for re-doing the bathroom. Cleaned the glass and tiles and let it dry completely before applying the tape. It seemed good at first but after only 15 minutes the tape began coming away from the edges and had to be repeatedly stuck down again with pressure throughout the whole time I was painting. Nothing I could do as I had already started painting and it took ages to apply it all in the first place. Then when it came to removal, the paint had leaked under the tape in numerous places due to it lifting and dried hard so I had to use a scraper to remove the tape and paint in those in those areas as it did not want to budge from there even though the rest kept peeling off on its own. Terrible waste of time and effort for a relatively cheap item.

Applied it one day, next day most of it had fallen off. What a waste of time and effort. Usually check these reviews first, but hadn't in this case.
One star but only because I can't rate it less tha

Awful....avoid this rubbish. Most of it wont stick...the part that did stick lifted the paint I was trying to protect and the plaster skim cost underneath. Going to have to fill that area of wall and repaint! Should have checked the reviews before I bought but at the time there was no other option in B&Q. Will try and find another brand next time.
A bit pricey compared to other shops

OK so the ends come unstuck sometimes and curl up. Its mostly happened where I have held the tape to remove it from the roll. Otherwise I've used 4 rolls so far and my only real complaint is the price! Should be cheaper!
