Had mine for at least 10 years. Cut everything with it. Metal, Timber, Plywood, plaster board, cementboard..... the lot.
Snapped the blade carrier, after roja lot of heavy use, got a replacement. 10 minute job. Like new again !

I totally love the Scorpion, it is so useful for those jobs where using a handsaw or hacksaw is a pain. I’ve used it for everything from trimming the bottom of a door, to reducing the size of a shower rail. If you have a shed full of power tools you probably don’t need this, but if you’re looking for something relatively light and versatile to address all your household sawing needs, this is the tool for you.
Good Value for your Money

I purchased this Saw to chop down a large oversize bush. It was a job more suited to a chainsaw. But it managed the branches upto 4cm wide/deep with ease. With the thicker boughs and trunk I had to cut wedges out before the final severing cut. patience was the key - ensuring that the motor was rested to stop overeating. Cut through normal plained wood with ease.

Had one bought me about 3 years back and believe me, it has more than proven its self over that time, decking, joists, marine ply, plastic pipes, steel square section and round section, cladding and so so much more.
