its ok for the price,

big gaps between the parts, needed to seal it with MAPEI MAPEFLEX FIRESTOP 1200°C HIGH TEMPERATURE GROUT GREY
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Not fit for purpose: Very flimsy metal and the screw holes line up very poorly. The chimney doesn't sit on the bowl at all, there is a huge gap, if you were to tighten the screws fully it would distort the chimney or more likely the screws would fail. That's as far as I got it's
Not worth the money

I thought this would be a good replacement for our old terracotta one. This hasn't even lasted a year, the cast iron parts are fine but the chimney is steel and is useless, not fit for purpose.

Could be better if it had a better seal at the joints a tube of fire clay wouldn’t go wrong
For the price, its good.

Bought this chiminea after having a good scout around the options online. Decided to go with this one as I could collect it locally. For the price, its difficult to complain. Looking at similar models its around £20-40 cheaper, not knowing what the others look and feel like in real life. Had it going once and its rather effective, easy to light and keep going and kicks out heat and the styling pleasing.
Downsides circle primarily around assembly. the instructions are quite funny in places as there were errors on the instructions, images showing parts that didn't quite match or were fitted in a different way, minor things that should have been caught in development but not to worry nothing to critical.
Secondly, the quality of the product is not brilliant (remember its cheap). lots of the movable elements dont really fit/align right, quite large gaps between the chiminea base and the little door (I think for ash?). Same for the big grill, this is pretty flimsy.
But, in spite of all of this, its robust and stable when standing and functions well as a outdoor heating source. Would recommend this over others.
