had been cooking on this hob for 3 months no problem.then for no reason the hob was turned on placed pan on plate the hob stayed radiant red on setting 7 but did not stopp glowing red the next thing that happend a err flashed on inspection of the hob it had cracked all over. on a phone call to b&q they fobbed us off that we had to phone bosch even though they sold us this faulty product.make sure you are aware of their faulse guarantee claims.

Bought to replace an ageing hob with one ring already not working the Bosch hob fitted perfectly and looks really smart. The default 'lock on' is a bit difficult to get used to but a useful feature if there are children about. The electrician who installed it commented that there were two links missing from the connector box but this didn't really hold things up too much
