Good product but a very short lead

For a mower aimed at medium size gardens the lead is far too short. My previous machine was an earlier version of the same mower but the lead was an appropriate length. This one is ridiculous. Other than that a good mower.

If you just want to cut grass this is OK but if you want a nice even finish its simply does not seem to 'set up' the grass for the blade as well as my last petrol mower. The result is lots of straggle bits that just don't get cut properly or at all

Had the product for 2 years and its as good as the day I bought it. Fast, efficient, quiet and the lawn looks wonderful. Quality German engineering and British made... what a great combination.
Bought this a few months ago!

Just a word of warning if you are a septugenarian lady !
I have used it now several times. Apart from the cord being woefully short, ( my previous machine did not necessitate the use of an extension ) my main beef is, that it is incredibly hard to push ! I am practically horizontal pushing it. If I had been able to cope with fuel, plugs and pull starters, I would have bought a self propelled petrol one, but I can’t !
Just sayin’ ............! And it isn’t hard on carpal tunnel wrists too, the fancy handles don’t make much difference, just a gimmick in my opinion.
Great Mower - but 2 major problems

Bought today, and very happy with it except for 2 problems. Power cable is ridiculously short so if you need to mow more than 10 metres from a socket you'll need an extension. 15 metre cable would have sufficed for most urban UK gardens. Second issue is that the trendy plug design doesn't fit into an outdoor power socket, and comprimises the weather proof seal. Bad mistake Bosch!!
