Product information
A traditional style sealer. Formulated using the natural, harvested shellac. It forms an ideal base for any of our wax polishes, or for the other shellac based polishes, such as French Polish or Button Polish. Shellac Sanding Sealer dries very quickly. When combined with our Briwax or Briwax Original it enables a grain enhancing complete finish to be applied to shelves, architraves, banisters, skirting, softwood dado rails or a piece of unfinished timber furniture in just one afternoon.

- Suitable for All types of wood
- Surface Preparation - Wood should be clean, dry and smooth. Sand in direction of grain to produce a smooth surface. If grain is open, fill with Rustins Grain Filler. Furniture that is to be renovated should be cleaned with white spirit and fine wire wool to ensure that it is free from grease and wax. Wood staining should be carried out before applying Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer
- Instructions for Use - Apply liberally with a soft brush or cloth pad and allow to dry. Rub down lightly with flour paper or Briwax 0000 Wire Wool before applying a second coat. When used as a finish, polish with a soft cloth or yellow duster.
