Heat alarms are recommended for use in areas where a smoke alarm may be prone to false alarms, e.g. kitchens, garages, loft spaces, boiler rooms. Heat alarms should not be used as the sole method of fire detection but should be included in a system that includes smoke alarms.

- Designed for installation in the home. Can be connected with other alarms from the CAVIUS Wireless alarm family or function as a stand alone alarm
- Radio frequency (RF) Interconnection built in (no base or module required). Interlink frequency 868MHz. Connect up to 32 Alarms in the CAVIUS wireless family range. Matching heat alarm in this range is catalogue number CV2208. Lithium battery backup with 10 year expected lifespan
- Test / hush button. Indicator lights: Red LED flashes every 48 second for normal operation, Green LED shows mains power on. Loud 85dB(A) @ 3m audible alarm
- Low battery (replace alarm) notification. Dual mesh system and dust compensation to prevent contamination .
