• One of the best ways to keep your sofa looking great is to vacuum it once a week. Use a low setting and the upholstery attachment of your vacuum cleaner to avoid any damage to the fabric. Just make sure to vacuum in the direction of the pile. Alternatively using a soft hand brush can fluff the fibres back up and keep the fabric colour intact. Fabric can absorb stains quickly, so removing them as soon as possible is best. Soak up any excess liquid with a clean, dry cloth, then spot-clean the area with a fabric upholstery cleaner suitable for polyester fabric following the manufacturers instructions. Some fabrics may look slightly different in person due to variations in lighting and screen resolution on laptop, desktop and mobile devices. Velvet can have distinct appearance, in natural light it tends to shimmer more, whereas in in artificial lighting, it tends to look more subdued. The colour of velvet may change if you stroke it in different directions, to maintain consistency, stroke the velvet in one direction with an open palm. The armrests are high and scrolling with pleated detailing on the front of the armrests and button studs the footboard. CHESTERFIELD has loose seat cushions and each sofa stands on dark wooden legs.
