We bought this 3 years ago and I need another one. The best way to use this is to put a quarter of an inch in a standard mug add hot water out of a kettle and let it sit for five minutes and pour in you laz y spa while filling it, we have the Monaco which is 6 to 8 people. Use a mixture of hot and cold water to fill your spa, you can top your spa up with hot water. We almost never have the heater on, but I do recommend leave the filter setting running all day.
