I bought these to repair a similar tap in one of my rental properties. The first one was fine, and I was quite pleased with the result. However, when I tried to remove the wheel of the second tap to fit it, I found that the screw was so tight that it could not be removed. After trying for about 45 minutes, I decided to take it back to the store, only to find that there were no more in stock. I now have a working hot tap and a dripping cold tap until a replacement can be sourced. There is absolutely no need for the screw to be on tight, as this is the first thing that has to be removed when fitting the valve.

terrible quality bought and 1 arm snapped off

Bought these to replace some old dripping taps. They look lovely but, there is absolutely no obvious way to tighten the valve. The chrome cowl does not come off so you can't tighten the valve with a spanner, you can only do it hand tight. You know what this results in? Kids turning the tap on and twisting the valve right out so water is spraying everywhere. Perhaps I'm missing something?
