Features and benefits
With the same natural beauty and luxurious feel of solid wood, real wood top layer flooring has become a popular choice for many households. Easier to install than solid wood, it features an engineered core that makes it exceptionally stable. This stability makes it suitable for underfloor heating and in conservatories as it is less resistant to heat and moisture changes in your room. Our flooring can be sanded down and refinished to give it a new lease of life, to remove signs of wear and improve the lifespan of the product.
- Glue less installation
- Easy to clean and hygienic
- Underfloor heating compatible
- Dimensionally stable and fits precisely due to three-layer construction
- Ecological, environmentally safe

Lovely oak floor

I would recommend this product for the look but not for ease of laying. Don't be fooled into thinking that the ends of the planks clip together - they don't. The instructions show that they have to be banged in to place with a block. We bought the B & Q fixing pack and used a rubber mallet. You can slide some sections together but this method only work on shorts rowss where you can then lay one whole row in a single fit. For longer rows you have to fit piece by piece, first by clicking in the long edge of the plank to the previous row and then hammering home the end with a block and mallet. It is therefore much more time consuming than a click method. BUT in saying that it does give a beautiful finish with very tight neat joints. Cuts nicely. Our only other problem was that at least 2 of the packs we bought were bowed like bananas so check your packs and individual planks carefully.

This is a lovely warm colour, the planks are quite evenly matched and it looks a high spec product. There are knots but they are the same colour as the wood and attractive. I am very pleased- it is much nicer than a recent purchase from an online supplier of a different brand which had awful black filled knots.
Great Engineered Timber Floor

Bought this floor for the hall, kitchen and office in our new house after looking around for a while. Very glad we did! We had it professionally fitted (not by B&Q) and it looks great! It feels a lot nicer than laminate flooring due to the real top layer of wood and even the fitter said it was a nice floor. Would definitely recommend.

The click mechanism on the end of each plank breaks off far too easily. Written off more than a box and a half and about to give up. A costly mistake. Don't buy.

I bought 11 boxes of this type of flooring. I have laid flooring a number of times before, but found this product very poor in construction. Sliding each section together was fine, but when I tried to insert a row of these sections the edge tongue of the tongue and groove broke off rendering the section useless. After using 1 full box and part of a second box I decided to return the remaining boxes to B&Q in Coatbridge, where I was refunded the cost of the 9 boxes.
