Product Information

This Lauren satin wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 1 coat with a brush or roller and leave for 12 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 10 m² per litre on average.

    Features and Benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

    • Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
    • We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
    • For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat

    Health and Safety

Please note that this item has additional safety or regulatory datasheets available. The product may have possible health and safety hazards covered in these documents. Refer to the container for full information and always follow the instructions.

Goes on well on any surface wood metal plastic and good coverage for a small tin HOWEVER this is NOT an off white colour so be careful it dries more of a mushroom colour or if you like a lilac beige

In terms of the quality of this gloss, then I would give it 5 stars. It does what is says on the tin. Really good consistency, glides on well and covers in one coat. I applied this paint to both wood and metal, and both come up with a great finish.
My issue with this gloss though is the colour. It's having somewhat of an identity crisis. Online the gloss looks beige, yet on the tin, the coloured sticker looks an off white. However, when painted on and dry, the colour has a purple tone to it. It's only when the lights are off do you get the beige. It's a great paint if you like the colour, but it's back to sanding down the woodwork, ready at apply a different colour for me. It isn't beige like the Internet.

    Awful steer clear.

Wouldn't give it even a one star, but have to otherwise I can't post this review. After 4 days it has dried in some places and is still wet in others. Will have to start the whole process again. Glossy in some places and more Matt in others. My advice, steer clear.
