    Features and Benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

    • Perfect for use on interior walls and ceilings
    • Water based and virtually odour free
    • Easy and pleasant to use
    • Low light reflectance

I've used Colours paint before and loved it, but this is thin and going into bubbles in the container. When you apply with a roller, it is covering the wall with bubbles too - and it didn't make any difference whether you applied it thinly or normally. The colour isn't so much light rain as a heavy downpour. Much darker than on the sample in the store and on the colour chart.

    Very poor quality results !

Bought this to make over a small bedroom to office - this paint proved difficult to apply, thick and not mixed well as I kept getting small blobs which gave a ' streaky ' effect and when you think it has brushed out dried lighter. I ended up painting the walls four times and I'm still not happy with it. I'm not a pro decorator but done enough over the years to get a good result that my wife and I are happy with, but this paint tested my patience ! The overall result is patchy so my advice is don't buy this and go for a better quality brand - you have been warned !!

I bought two tubs of 5L Light Rain with mixed results. The first tub was of a very thick consistency and I had difficulty mixing it as it was lumpy and left clumps on the wall. The second was very thin and whilst it seemed to have good coverage, I discovered when it dried it left a lot patches.

On the positive side the colour is nice and has freshened up my flat. I would warn that it isn’t really grey, more of a pale blue with a hint of grey. Luckily I still like colour!

A horrible decorating experience. Don't buy

I bought this in 4 2.5l pots and one 5l. Of 5 pots, I encountered two different consistencies and 3 markedly different colours. The first few pots were of a thin consistency which bubbled a lot when applied with a roller, and needed 3 coats for decent coverage. Also, no matter how well I tried to mix it, there were always big thick clots in the paint from around the edge of the pot, which I would have to scrape off the wall as I was painting. The fourth pot was noticeably paler in colour and left me with walls which changed colour part way down where I'd had to start a new pot to finish the third coat. Bought the fifth, 5l pot to do another coat over the whole room to even it out. It was so thick that texture marks were evident however it was applied, and paint applied with a brush was a good 2 shades darker than with a roller. A horrible, depressing experience. I've had to buy a better quality paint from a competitor in a similar shade and paint the room yet again - the fourth coat. I will NEVER use B&Q own brand paint again.
