Like the other reviewers I was very annoyed that the cord only operated one curtain which made the thing totally useless for my application because it was impossible to get to one side of the curtain. Unfortunately I had cut the thing to length before I realised this so I can't take it back. The package had obviously been opened and sealed closed with tape probably because a customer had bought it realised it was useless and returned it. I did ask the staff if I could open it and check all the bits were present, but I was refused. There were missing bits. MORE HASSLE. I would be ashamed to sell such a useless item.
Very good product - fits perectly

Bought rail to fit part bay window for an extremely heavy curtain. Took a while to bend the track and fit but definitely worth the time. Had already tried an alternative rail that could not cope with the curtain weight so extremely pleased with the product and overall quality. Definitely worth the extra cost. Could do with a few extra curtain runners for the rail length.
Single closing curtains?

On the description implies that the corded operation can be from either end. This is not the case. Each curtain must be drawn separately using different cords. I am going to remove the cords and use them manually (if you use them manually with the cords still attached they snag up). This means it was totally pointless buying a corded rail in the first place. Do not waste your money on this product.
Steer clear of these

This track is two pieces even though it says one. The plastic mounts flimsy and screws and plugs pretty useless. The worst aspect however has to be the most ridiculous pull cord which for each curtain. The whole point of a pull cord is make closing easier. Don't waste money on this product.

I fit a lot of curtain track in rented houses as part of my work and this is quite simply a very poor product.
To start with, don't be fooled into thinking that when you pull the cord it opens or closes the curtains simultaneously - it doesn't! You have a cord at each end, it draws one curtain and then you have to go to the other end to draw the other half. That's ok if you have the room but in many cases people will have furniture at one end and cannot access the other cord as easily.
Then you have the extremely cheap quality cord - it doesn't stretch an inch or so, it stretches a considerable amount, so if you have fixed the child proof guides to the wall then they become ineffective due to the stretched loop of cord left hanging!
Furthermore, due to the design of the fixings, they cannot be hidden behind the rail, so you see the brackets clearly above it - they can of course be hidden with a pelmit but other better makes manage to avoid the need to do that. If you try to turn the brackets upside down to hide hem behind the rail, they snag the curtain runner and will not operate.
Not expensive but still a waste of money for what they are. I refuse to buy them any more, fitted six but that is it, I either search for Swish or use other no corded makes, I'll never use these inferior products again.
