Dc fix static cling window film are a popular DIY solution for adding privacy or décor to over-looked windows, doors and shower screens, with minimum cost, ease of application and no more dusty blinds! Not only for privacy and décor, this vinyl film also gives 95% UV protection, which helps prevent fading of your soft furnishings and reduces glare without any loss of light. Quick and easy to apply to clean, smooth glass surfaces. Simply spray the glass with plenty of water, remove the backing paper and smooth into position, pushing the excess water out to the sides. If you make a mistake, peel back and start again. The water will dry out leaving a flawless finish. Remember to allow 5mm at the edges, the vinyl should be applied to the glass only and not touching the rubber seal around the door or window, this will cause the vinyl to come away from the glass. Static cling window films are a non-permanent DIY solution, perfect for home owners, tenants or landlords looking for an affordable window solution. You can use normal household cleaners to clean the glass or remove the film entirely and reapply. No glue means the film pulls away from the glass leaving no residue and can even be re-used!
