The internal design means that you have to cut extra wires (not supplied) to link the two sockets together. Subsequently found out that most better quality double external sockets have a design that doesn't require this extra wiring. As per the previous review the six screws holding the the sockets in place are too small and it is difficult to get enough purchase to make the box waterproof without damaging the screw heads. After one day's use the very small plastic lug keeping one of the covers shut broke off. Had to disconnect everything and take it back. A not very well made or designed product.

Does what it says on the tin....but

Just installed this socket and it looks as if it will do the job well.
There's a snag though. The six small self-tapping screws that fix the socket unit onto the patress block are not really up to the job. Only a small-headed screwdriver will fit in the screw heads, and the torque required to bite into the plastic is is on the limit of what such a screwdriver can deliver without stripping the screw head. You have to be very sure and steady in your screwdriving to do this securely.
