What a nightmare trying to get this paper to stick to walls. Walls were painted previously and sanded a little. Used Solvite wallpaper paste as recommended by B and Q. pasted walls and paper. The joins are not sticking. Will now try PVA. Wished I had used pva on walls and let dry first.

We bought this as our utility room had very uneven walls. It is very difficult to work with. Don't treat it as wall paper, it needs to be molded around corners. Buy lots of utility blades and you will need a good pair of scissors.
Looks good though when finished

Worth the effort

This lining paper is great for giving a smooth finish on old cracked walls. It is much more difficult to fit. Worked for me by thick mix of paste, pasted and rested paper, pasted the wall and then applied with a roller and a wide edged paint scraper to flatten and push out the sir bubbles. Erfurt do a similar paper, which is more difficult to fit. I believe there is some thermal gain from the paper, certainly the walls feel warmer

Does a great job

Have bought several rolls of this, and will be buying more as we move from one room to another decorating, has made a big difference on outside facing walls, not always easy to hang, needs plenty of paste , better with too people, we find it better to hang one sheet, leave for awhile (Cup of tea) then place another, no problem with sticking, prime walls first then lots of paste, we use dial ready mix suitable for finerglass wall coverings

doesn't adhere to wall

Doesn't stick to wall - leaves pockets / bubbles despite smoothing down and using correct paste + pasting method. The "furry" type of surface seems to just soak up the paste. I have had to reapply / remove from wall multiple times and have now went for the "cheap" lining paper which sticks just fine. Annoyed as I spent more money on what i thought was a better quality product and just wasted that and time.
