Bought this as my bath needs an edge strip due to the way it is fitted. Didn’t expect loads, but hoped it would stick to the tiles long enough to silicone it in properly and then be solid as last time I adapted the plastic tile edge strips to do the same job.
Didn’t even stick for a few hours to silicone. Completely useless. I don’t know why they sell it. Massively overpriced for the product and it literally doesn’t do what it is meant to in the slightest. One star isn’t low enough!

Bought after reading reviews although there are some negative ones. Because of the reviews, i knew what i needed to complete the job and it does what i wanted it for.
Great if installed correctly!

I'd read through all the other reviews, trying to read between the lines as to what was being complained about on such a simple product. I'm in IT and complaints are 90% lack of user knowledge, possibly mixed in with some bad luck. I examined the strip carefully at the store as I needed 2 strips for my corner bath. I think the strip could use an explanatory label as you are obviously going to have to use sealant with it. Guidance on cutting, especially joins would be helpful. The sticky strip is also far too easy to completely pull off instead of the protection layer and I ended up using two layers of double-sided tape on one. I might even suggest a sticky strip on the top edge as well as walls and tiles are rarely straight. Once in place some careful sealing, in my case with ivory sealant to match the tiles and 90's bath, it looks great. End pieces would be nice as well.
Does what is expected

So many bad reviews that I don't understand.
Please note, this product is not waterproof by itself, the same way as tiling your bathroom around your bath or sink. A sealant is required!
Used this recently after removing a huge amount of sealer that the previous owner had used to fill a larger gap than I expected to find.
A mitre was used to cut the corners with no issue, unlike a previous reviewer stated. Although I had to use a blade to start the separation of the blue tape from the adhesive strip, there were no issues - apply this to the smooth surface of the bath. Finally I used a silicone sealant to fill in all edges to make it all waterproof.
I am not a B&Q employee, nor am I a professional in the construction/property industry.
