Ruined my new bathroom
LeightJ - 1 month ago
Had a new bathroom suite fitted and tiled, use this and within about a month the front edge that is supposed to seal against the bath has curled up, instead of the water running off it stays on top and gets underneath and turns black, as it's a small gap is hard to clean
So confused? Get your act together B&Q

Is it for under the tiles or above - the description say underneath, the photo shows above. I put it over the tiles and put a thin bead of mastic underneath and above the strip - not sure if it’ll work. Took me a good minutes to peel off the label. The half round bath seal is stated in the store as being for sealing stairs?
waste of time

Adhesive is a tiny layer that does absolutely nothing. Waste of money

It is such a poor piece of equipment it’s not worth one star. Firstly the adhesive strip comes off most of the product when you remove the protective strip. What does remain wont stick unless the wall is dead straight so adhesive is required such as grip fill etc. Then silicon to fill all the gaps. You need to be prepared to spend a lot of Time trying to make it look good he warned.
