Product information

Condensation is a headache for many homeowners. It creates a damp environment and commonly leads to black mould growth, which can cause musty odours, material decay and can exacerbate health conditions.

Dryzone Anti-Condensation Paint reduces condensation and mould problems through its 3-in-1 action. It is applied to internal walls and surfaces using a standard paintbrush or roller. The resulting decorative surface is warm to the touch, moisture buffering and discourages mould growth.

    • Surface Preparation - 1. Put down dust sheets before work begins 2. Remove any loose material such as old paint, grease, dirt, mould or defective wallpaper 3. If mould is present, thoroughly clean the area using Dryzone® 100 Mould Remover whilst avoid sanding the mould area to reduce spreading of spores. 4. Allow to dry thoroughly.
    • Instructions for Use - Use a medium pile roller (recommended) to apply 2 coats evenly, taking care not to over-apply as this may result in a thick, stippled finish. A foam roller may give a smoother final finish or a brush can be used if preferred. Light sanding is permitted to remove any high spots, nibs or stipples. For best results Dryzone® Anti-Condensation Paint can be left as the final finish. Allow the first coat to dry fully before applying the second coat. Each coat will typically be touch dry after 1 – 3 hours depending on temperature, humidity and airflow. Optimum dry film thickness is 225 – 250 microns after 2 coats. The surface temperature during application should be between 10 – 25 °C. Clean tools and equipment with warm water as soon as possible after use.

    Features and benefits

Dryzone® Anti-Condensation Paint has been specifically

designed to reduce condensation from forming on treated

surfaces. The glass microspheres in the paint increase the

time to condensation, reducing the likelihood of mould growth

and creating a surface that is warmer to the touch. It can be

applied by brush or roller and is for internal use.

      • [Advanced Glass Microsphere Technology] Dryzone Anti-condensation Paint has been designed to reduce condensation by increasing the time-to-condensation by up to 3 times, allowing moisture to dissipate.
      • [3-in-1 action] Moisture Buffering - Open-pore structure making it resistant to moisture and highly breathable.
      • [3-in-1 action] Preservative Surface Effect discouraging mould and other biological growth associated with condensation from forming on the treated surface.
      • [3-in-1 action] Thermal Effect - lower thermal conductivity and higher infra-red reflectivity creates a surface that is warm to the touch.
      • Please ensure the paint is thoroughly stirred before use. Do not use mechanical mixing tools as this might damage the glass microspheres. Touch-dry after 1-3 hours depending on temperature, humidity and airflow. Coverage: Approximately 4 m² per litre (based on 2 coats).
