Features and Benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

  • Repeatably wipeable eggshell finish
  • Stain resistant

Bought this as I thought it would give a superior finish to normal eggshell.
Definately not the case paint not easy to roller and leaves heavy brush marks. Very disappointed

I'd been using a white eggshell from an expensive competitor. I noticed a fade after 2 years so decided to try and find a cheaper and better alternative. This is the same brilliant white as the walls and it goes on beautifully. Too soon to see what happens as time passes yet, but I was impressed enough to buy more when I exhausted the 5L on various doors radiators and skirtings.

Really white on woodwork as well as walls

Prepare woodwork and add a small amount of cold water to improve painting.
Start on a less noticeable woodwork and you will soon be used to the texture.
Really white and durable. A lovely matt (egg shell like) finish. Worth paying a bit more and covers a lot when some water is added. Practice makes perfect. I would not use anything else on wood.

I use for all my woodwork

I have used this paint over a number of years and now only use this for my woodwork. For me, it goes on easily with good coverage, either with a brush or a gloss roller. It dries very hard so can be scrubbed and does not chip easily (in fact no chips at all unlike gloss). Most importantly for me it stays white. I painted a bedroom 4 years ago and it is still the same brilliant white behind a bookcase. Had I used gloss it would long ago have yellowed. It only has a very slight sheen, so no good if you like a high gloss finish but that does not bother me. It is expensive paint but for me it is worth it as it lasts a long time. If you are covering yellowed gloss you need to undercoat the first time you use it, but from then on you won't need to.
