Features and benefits
Dulux Matt is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings which is ideal for a modern, flat finish. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Control air pollutants by choosing products with lower solvent levels

When lights are on in my hallway the paint looks great, however when in natural daylight it seems to be missing that extra something and therefore can appear to be a bit dull. Overall it works with my home and therefore still given 4 stars.

Grey not White..

It's not often that I buy a product without reading the reviews, but the text on the tin claims an 'even coverage,' further boasting 'thick and creamy, easy to apply'. Unfortunately this is not the case. The paint 'is' thick and creamy in texture, but the coverage is extremely poor with a thin, watery application that takes several labour intensive coats to apply. Not wanting the standard brilliant white I had also been sold on the colour and the swatch on the front of the tin clearly shows a subtle but definite shade of 'white'. On opening, you can see that it is very clearly a 'light grey' with subtle blue tones and after three careful coats the colour did not improve. I've painted many rooms over the years and I can honestly say this was the most disappointing.
Don’t always listen to the reviews.

I wasn’t sure about buying this colour paint as I had read the reviews on B&Q and on multiple websites which gave it a pretty poor rating. Considering many people had issues with this paint ie coming out a different colour, looking blue or beige... I had NO issues what so ever. When applying the first coat it seemed a little bit dark but as it started to dry it went really light which is what I wanted. I must admit it might depend on the lighting of your room but I have a slanted ceiling/wall but still looks amazing. (Photo was taken at night with flash)
Cheap paint without the cheap price tag

Poor quality paint, and coverage. 3-4 coats over a prepped white surface.
Thick and creamy doesn't mean good coverage.
I bought 8 tubs and there was a colour difference between them
Extremely poor for Dulux.
