Product information

Once established this bushy variety produces clusters of sturdy stems topped with spectacular, large, deep purplish pink blooms, each reaching up to 7-10cm in diameter. The bright orange cones stand out against the purple-pink blooms, providing a spectacular display that makes a great cut flower.Sow Feb-June (February sowings will flower in first year). Sow seeds onto the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed compost. Cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place sown container in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag at a temperature of 15-20C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise young plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 45cm (18in) apart.Product Specifications:Position in: full sunHeight: Up to 120cmSpread: Up to 60cmSupplied as 1 x Seed Packet (35 Seeds)Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
