Product information

Farrow & Ball Estate emulsion paint is a sophisticated choice for interior walls and ceilings – this tin covers up to 35m² per 2.5 litres on average.

  • Suitable for Ceilings & walls
  • All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry & well prepared. The correct Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied.
  • Suitable for Ceilings & walls
  • Stir contents well before use & apply 2 topcoats.

Features and benefits

Radicchio takes its name from the distinctive colour of Italian chicory. It contains less blue pigment than Eating Room Red so is brighter and more modern in feel. It successfully fills a room with energy without having the boldness of a true clean red. Red & Warm Tones Undercoat.

  • Farrow & Ball's signature, chalky matt finish, 2% sheen
  • Eco-friendly emulsion paint with zero VOC content
  • Wipeable and child safe
  • Waterbased and low odour
  • Quick drying
  • We want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

I have to agree with another 1star review, this is possibly the worst paint I’ve ever used. We only chosen this because the colour was perfect for what we needed. After three coats of paint and two days of drying time we decided is was time to fit our new wall mounted TV on fixing to the bracket we lent/touch the wall with our hands and left marks on the paint, we wiped with a clean cloth and plain water it just made it worse. I contacted customer services @ Farrow & Ball and they said “Due to the nature of Estate emulsion it can be susceptible to burnishing if any pressure is put against it and the only way to remove the marks is to apply a liberal layer of new paint” I can’t recommend the use of this paint and would not use again considering the overall quality of the paint and the expense.
