This eggshell metal and wood paint from the Farrow & Ball Estate range is the perfect choice to update your home interior. Made to provide a rich, durable finish, you can be sure that this paint will look brilliant for longer. School house white is a unique shade of white that will add a contemporary feel to your scheme. The paint should ideally be used on metal and wood. After application, this metal and wood paint will accomplish a impeccably eggshell surface that will look brand new for a long time. This 2.5L size contains enough paint to cover up to 12 m² on average. For maximum results, apply with a brush, roller or spray. It will dry quickly between coats meaning you can recoat it in 4 hours. Not only that, but our metal and wood paint is water-based and has minimal VOCs, so it’s safe for you and your home.
- Suitable for use on Metal & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry and well prepared. The correct Farrow & Ball Primer and Undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied. Stir contents well before use & apply 2 topcoats.

Dead Good
I absolutely love the dead flat finish. With an old and old walls, dead flat is the perfect finish. School House white is a new favourite colour too. It’s the right kind of old white to compliment my farmhouse colour palette

Old paint?
Unfortunately, the sample pot I received was old. The paint was very thick paint and had a rust spot inside the tin. Very disappointing. Perhaps that’s the reason why they’re offering a promotion buy 2 & get one free to get rid of old stock.

Fantastic finish and hardwearing eggshell
I have used this paint on ceramic tiles in our utility room. And it locks brilliant and has worked a treat, much better than a paint that was meant to be exclusively used on ceramics but failed completely. Well done Farrow & Ball, top quality as usual

Dead flat
Really is dead flat. Perfectly Matt finish with no sheen is just the look we wanted for our radiator. Needed a primer first and two coats but happy with the end result.

Beautiful warm neutral
Beautiful warm neutral that pairs well with School House White. The dead flat emulsion was superb to apply, non drip good coverage and amazing finish. Bought a 5l tin which covered 3 large areas. Tin however did arrive damaged at the bottom so it wasn’t very sturdy to stand and was a significant risk of spilling which is the only reason for the 4 stars

Superior
School House White - Perfect colour, couldn’t be happier, great for furniture and walls. Love it so much I painted the white tiles in kitchen, so reminiscent of school days and excellent to finish a farmhouse look for kitchen - a must for next project the hallway ! Highly recommend
