- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Revitalised bedroom
Love the combination of borrowed light walls & kittiwake on the wood. Received plenty of compliments on the colours especially kittiwake because it is such an unusual blue. Delighted

Really lovely colour
We bought this colour using the F&B chart so was a bit apprehensive but we shouldn't have been. It look great in our spare bedroom, especially alongside crisp white woodwork. Would definitely buy again.

Eco-friendly aspect perfect for design collab!
As always, beautiful depth of colour from F&B. Perfect for our room set design collaboration with local charity Highland BlindCraft Beds. We opted for the new dead flat as we had walls as well as shelving and metal shelf brackets to paint and it went on like a dream. The colours are our go to when deciding on our colour palettes for our in-house designed fabrics and often make sure there are fabrics that will complement F&B colours. The collaboration is for eco- friendly beds, headboards covered in our natural fabrics printed with eco-friendly inks in cotton and linen mixes so it was also important to choose an eco-friendly paint and Farrrow & Ball was the perfect choice.

Great colour
Positives. Gorgeous colour in a South facing room, with pure white ceiling and gloss. However, that's where the positive ends for us. We have painted our whole house with farrow and ball and have always been super happy with it. It has always covered with 2 coats. It needed 3 coats so we had to order another tin. In my opinion the paint is a watered down version of what it used to be. The quality is not what it used to be. The only difference is the change in ownership!! So but all means still buy it but make sure you order extra. We are halfway through painting another bedroom in Parma grey (both small rooms) and I've just had to order another tin with express delivery. We will seriously have to think about staying with farrow and ball.

Pleasure to work with
Quality of FB paint is breathtaking! I am life long DIY painter of walls and furniture alike. During several decades I have used various brands, some very luxurious, but I have not found one equally easy to work with. I have used Kittywake to paint two pieces of furniture. Kittiwake blue, in the room with windows facing west and north looks pleasantly warm, true blue that is not too competing nor to bland.

Into the Kittiwake Blue
Painted our newly decorated hallway with Kittiwake (and Blue Maize for the staircase) from floor to ceiling . It was a gamble because there weren't much light coming through to the hallway and we worried painting it blue would make the space very dark but it turned out beautifully! What we loved about Kittiwake was that it made the whole space more airy, bright and calm. We LOVED it 😍
