Warning - Internal width only 800mm

Wish I'd read WALPOLE's review before I bought this. Internal dimension D on the drawing states 880mm, but this is incorrect and it is only 800mm. This does not fit my fireplace, so having to modify it myself to get a good fit. If you need 800mm opening it is okay, few small gaps where joints have not pulled together fully, but okay for the price. No use if you want 880mm opening.

Changes the whole look of my room! Fireplace was great value & easy to assemble. Ive beeswaxed mine with a medium oak finish & I'm made up with it. It looks much more expensive in my opinion that the cost.

Bought this fireplace, having checked the measurements online. Got the item home and built it to find that the dimensions described in the images of the item were incorrect, and was marked at 8cm wider on the interior width than it actually was. Due to having already built this item we were unable to return. This was partially our error for not throughly checking the item purchased prior to building, however still highly disappointed! We have had to reposition all screws and dowells as to attempt to make it fit. Lowering the aesthetic quality of the fire place, and increasing the work on what we thought would be a very simple build!
