These baskets are excellent. We use them for our ‘extended larder’ on shelves in the garage. Substantial enough to hold food, tins, etc. Good quality. We own over 20 of them in 2 houses, and was in the process of buying more when I decided to contribute with a review.

For some reason, B&Q are listing all of the reviews for the lightweight 33L & 45L crates under this 46L crate and giving it a bad name. This is actually quite a sturdy crate. I wouldn’t fill it with metal or heavy tools but fine for keeping in the car and putting your shopping in. I don’t know why B&Q can’t keep their products straight and tell the difference between two entirely different items but I can assure you that the reviews for the 33L crate etc do not reflect on the quality of the heavy duty crate.
Excellent for use as a laundry basket

I love this little space saving collapsible basket - I have used them for years as a laundry basket. They are lightweight and robust enough to last a couple of years or more. Very cheap at £3 each from B&Q - other searches for this product on the internet ranged from £5 - £25. A great little bargain.
can't give zero stars

I needed a replacement for some crates i've had for almost 20 years (wilcos from memory) they managed to fold flat and pop up weekly without needing to be particularly careful. These are so flimsy i would say they are almost unfit for purpose. Once opened up and everything clicked into place, they are a functional tub. Try to carry around and the clips come apart and it loses its structure - one has snapped in one location in first use when carrying laundry, so not sure i overloaded it. The nature of how it clicks together means its tricky collapse. My old ones just pushed in the sides and folded down. I will be on the lookout for items as good as the ones that lasted 20 years. Unfortunately B&Q's products don't last 20 minutes
Waste of money

I've had so many of these in the past, as I love them for all sorts of uses around the house, but mainly for laundry. Over the years I have had to replace them, but previously that's been OK.
Last month I bought 3, and 2 of these have already broken on the handle. Simply snapped. They were only holding my laundry. Not worth the money, too flimsy.
