Bought this to attempt the felling of a 30' cherry tree. Saw performed great cutting 4" branches, 8' trunks and a 2' diameter trunk at the base before it split off into 3 trees. I had a quote of £500 to remove this tree and it took an afternoon to fell the tree and cut all the large bits into smaller bits to make logs.

I was very impressed with the performance of this budget saw. Only drawback are the fiddly chain adjustment and the locating pin which goes in the bar is plastic and would prefer metal but I can make one if it breaks.

Really pleased with this saw for the price and would buy again.

I purchased this item from Halifax B & Q around 6 weeks ago. Due to the weather it’s not been used at all. Today was the first use & after working perfectly for over an hour the coil on the pull start unravelled itself in its housing. Poor quality it seems despite working ok initially.
