Bought 2 bags of this so called compost, had to use a garden sieve to get rid of the many stones, twigs etc. After sieving the 2 x 50L bags I ended up with half a bag of stones twigs etc. How can B&Q sell rubbish like this.
Lots of small bits of plastic

Was very disappointed with how much plastic was in the bags of soil improver. Had tipped the bag over the area and started to spread out when I realised. Definitely Won’t be buying again.
Super quality soil improver

Ordered many bags and had delivered which was free delivery. So pleased I bought it instead of a ton bag which I did last year. Far better quality and easier to handle in bags. It was a false economy buying in bulk. Very happy with this brand.
Shredded soil improver however with plastic
steebs001 - 2 months ago
It's a good balance of shredded bark, compost, wood and soil ... It's unfortunate most modern day compost is just shredded material.
However contains plastic too . Some "may" worry about the shredded twig sizes but these can be removed (don't know the percentage), but through the shredding process plastic was also put through.
There's Blue, Red, White, whilst small bits are in the bag, they can be annoying. It's one of those where the improver vs. the plastic are worth it (for me - to others it may be a personal choice) as I remove what I can .
... They are far to small to sieve, so it's hand removal when you find them.
It does what it says . So Fair rating.
