- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

I bought this clear varnish easy to use water based just use warm water to clean your brush

Shiny
I used this to vanish my floor , it was easy to use with clear instructions on the packaging. I was able to follow them with no issues , the box comes well packaged with foam to avoid any breakage. The product is easy to apply and coat. Leaving it looking well done and to a high standard

Great varnish - used on a kitchen table
This is a great hardwearing floor varnish that I used on a hard wearing everyday kitchen table. The varnish was easy to apply, although I did thin it slightly. It has left s lovely finish which has enhanced the grain of the wood and given a very smart and hardwearing finish which was the original idea.

Done the job!
I used this varnish to seal my original wood floors that I have sanded back to their original glory. I love the Matt finish, it makes for a sophisticated look in my living room. I will definitely be using again when needed.

Good home floor wood vanish
This is the first time I have heard of good homes brand. Good home floor wood vanish is 2.5Litre which is a good size for vanish pot. I was happy with the size. Good home floor wood vanish is easy to use on my wooden flooring.

Great stuff
So glad I tried this and does the job i wanted no problem. Had an old wooden bookshelf I've been attempting to upcycle and wanted some of the boards to remain unpainted so got this and after sanding and coating they've come up a treat. Not completely done yet as it's a work in progress but the varnish was easy to apply, left it for the recommended drying time and it has given a nice finish.

Really Good Finish, Good Clear Colour
I used this to seal some wood for a project I was doing. I needed a true clear colour and this gave me that! Some have a cloudy finish but this was perfect. Take your time, do a couple of thin coats with a very slight sand inbetween and you will get the best finish. Don't rush it!

Impressed!
When my husband said we will strip and sand down the floorboards in the hallway Iwas concerned thinking it will look awful. But we used this clear satin floor varnish and I am super happy with the results! It looks sooo nice I have had so many compliments where everyone is asking me if I have had new flooring put in. Very easy to work with, good coverage and great results! Very happy - I would highly recommend
