Poor quality

This paint is not very good at all, I would not recommend it

gjm1975 - 1 / 5 - 19/02/2024

Absolute rubbish

I’ve only given it 1 star because it is the minimum! Would give it zero if I could. Absolutely atrocious AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I wouldn’t accept it even if it was free Thin, watery, as soon as you stop mixing it goes back to water You may as well get orange squash at throw it at the wall as that would be better.

Worst paint I've ever bought

Even after 4 coats it's still see through. Thin and watery even though it's gloopy in the tin. I even added some white to try and thicken it but no use. Don't buy this unless you want to do multiple coats

Pete1903 - 1 / 5 - 14/01/2023

Terrible

Don't buy this colour of paint unless you want to do five coats and buy 4 tubs . Struggled to cover new paintable wallpaper very watery and drys extremely patchy.

Awful thin paint

I used a sample pot first as I got a few colours to paint spots and stripes in our kids’ room. It was terrible paint but cheap! Ran out of the tester, B&Q didn’t have any in stock or to order locally, so had to find the same colour and eventually ordered this big tub of the same colour. Tried using Valspar, which was supposed to be mixed in the same colour, but it came out more peachy and slightly satin not matt. Had to paint over the peach. The B&Q paint was so thin it took me a million coats to go over the pencil outlines of where I wanted the orange to go, and the word “orange”! So don’t try to paint over pencil with this paint. It is a nice burnt yet bright orange colour, hence the two stars!!

Awful, don't buy

If I could give less than one star I would. This is the worst paint I've ever used, even worse than the awful Gran Via yellow On well prepared, even, white walls I needed 4 5 coats to get a more or less even coat. Even now it's not that good. As well as that, it clods up into lumps as old paint might - not a pot that's only been used for a few hours in clean trays with clean brushes.

Great paint

Just moved house and of course our 3 year old wanted an orange room! With not many shades to choose from we went for this one. We lined the walls and it only took 2 coats of paint. It went on really well and it looks great! It probably would have taken 1 or 2 more coats without lining the walls

Love this paint

I’ve used this it a few different colours and they have all been brilliant. I bought expensive paint and it wasn’t know we’re as good as this paint. Don’t understand why it’s getting bad reviews.

Really difficult paint to get a good finish

We bought this paint for a couple of walls in our boy's bedroom. It was going on to new lining paper. One coat was so patchy and two still patchy, even though we tried to paint thicker. After a third coat it's passable but we'd never buy this paint again.
