Durable and long-lasting paint in matching colours to our walls and ceiling paint. A mid sheen satin finish, perfect for painting your skirtings, doors and window frames.

  • Suitable for use on Metal & wood surfaces
  • Surface Preparation - Surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Before painting on bare wood or metal, use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be rubbed down with a fine abrasive paper. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Metal surfaces should be free from rust and corrosion. Knots in wood surfaces should be treated with a knotting solution. Fill any holes or defects with filler

Poor paint

I prepped my door properly before starting I wasn't too concerned when the first coat looked patchy but after sanding again and two more coats it still looks dreadful. Don't buy it

Don't buy!

This is the worst trim paint I have ever cone across. Intended to top-coat interior doors, well prepped primed/undercoated/rubbed back. It was like trying to paint with water onto a piece of glass. The paint did not seem to wet onto the surface, and would not cover, just made runny streaks. Stopped and washed it all off after 3 brushloads. Nice man at the Dulux centre mixed me up a matching colour on their oil-based satinwood trade base.... perfect coverage and finish in a single coat. Nuff said. The only good thing about the Goodhome stuff is that it washes out of your brushes very easily, after you quickly realise you made a big mistake buying it.

Satin paint

We bought this for the spindles on the stairs and our new doors, cover is great but best of all there is no smell to it whatsoever

ShakyofWeymouth - 1 / 5 - 18/10/2020

Extremely poor paint

Do not purchase this brand. It needs at least three coats to cover. All done correctly, sand, primer, undercoat, then coat, coat, etc. Awful.

Awful

I bought this to paint the wood panelling on my interior chimney wall. It was awful to use, it lifted off every time my brush went over it, it dripped and generally made a mess. I've only put one coat up to now so fingers crossed it looks better after a couple more coats xx

Not that cheap ant that cheerful

Very poor covering paint. Almost translucent on the first coat. It will take a minimum of three coats to cover white as in my case. Probably down to being water based. A new product that has not been product tested properly.Spend a bit more and get some Dulux.
