- Suitable for use on Melamine & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - Prepare wood by removing wax, oil and seal knots on untreated wood. Fill any holes or defects with a wood filler. Lightly sand melamine surfaces with 180 grit sandpaper for the best adhesion. Wash your surface with a soda based cleaner and then rinse thoroughly, it should be clean and dry before painting. Ensure any flaking paint is removed. The surfaces in your home may have been painted in the past with paint containing lead. Special care must be taken when sanding or stripping these surfaces
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. For best results, at least 2 coats are recommended using a brush or roller. To finish use GoodHome lacquer or wax to provide heavily used surfaces such as table tops and chair seats extra durable protection. Allow 10 days for paint to fully cure. During this time treat your new paintwork with extra care, gently wiping any spills or liquids from the paint immediately.

Don't do it.
I've been painting for 20 years. This customer asked me to use the paint she had bought. I have never used such rubbish in all my years. Avoid at all costs.

Did a good job
I bought this product to paint the doors on the landing. 3 bedroom and the bathroom. Just the landing side. I used an undercoat first and left it for 48hours to dry properly and then applied this using a small roller. It covered well and appears to be durable at the moment but only time will tell.

Nice paint - blue/grey
Whilst it’s nice paint and a great colour you do have to work fairly quickly with it. Fortunately I was just upcycling old furniture and they were not large pieces, so I was able to achieve a smooth finish. A negative which other customers have mentioned is that the tins are definitely not full and I thought I’d been short changed on my first tin until I read others had the same issue.

Do not go by the colour on the label!!!!
Bought this as I previously used the Goodhome Princeton but after taking 2 tons back because the colour in the tin was lighter I thought I would try this one but it’s exactly the same. I don’t know what is going on with these paints but the colours are not the same as they were 6 months ago, they are all mid grey and not the darker/bluer grey that’s shown on the label

Meriden colour is wrong
Bought the Meriden and the paint colour does not match at all and the tin is 2/3 full. Should be medium grey and is very blue.
