These are so simple to install and full instructions are on the card packaging back
The backplate is easy to unscrew you just use pin nose pliers or a pozi screwdriver turning it in the direction of arrows to undo
Just 3 holes /screws per bracket (not supplied)
And the hook turns easily to adjust
Will be purchasing again
New design, easier to use

Elegant design and easy to use, although there should be a photo of the mounting system on the products webpage. Backplate design seems to have changed from the type in the earlier review photo that received so many negative comments and there are clear instrcutions on the back for the packaging. No mounting screws supplied (doesn't bother me as sadly, I have thousands of various sized screws but it might irritate some folk). When disassembling for the first time the backplate can be initially unscrewed with a cross head screwdriver (seems to be a new feature). When mounting them on the wall I only did them finger tight, and just used a tiny bit of grease on the threads but that's just me, I would have done that anyway without having seen the negative reviews. They are then easy to undo again if required.
Too hard to unscrew

I wish I'd read the reviews before buying. I've spent 20 minutes trying to unscrew them before resorting to Google, only to find many other people with the same issue. Why on earth are they still available to buy B&Q?

Bought a pole and 3 x brackets to hang some heavy curtains. The brackets were really easy to put up, didn't have any problems. Looks great with curtains. Liked the product so much I'm getting another one.
