The mineral substrate MONOPON ensures reliable water drainage in conventional planters without a LECHUZA irrigation system.

Thanks to 100% natural pumice, moisture is stored and released reliably. Apart from being used as a drainage layer, MONOPON can also be mixed with soil to loosen it and improve soil aeration, protecting against compaction. It is also an excellent alternative to conventional expanded clay, which carries a high CO₂ load.

The non-fertilised formula allows the plant to be fertilised as needed or combined with pre-fertilised substrate. Due to its volume-stable properties, MONOPON also offers the plant stable support and a firm footing in the planter, making it the ideal substitute for soil for complete planting in conventional pots. The substrate is peat-free for the sake of nature.
