The best
Bought this to darken a light oak mantle shelf. Sanded to 220 grit, a good coat of Littlefair’s Medium Oak Stain and 4 coats of a good wax polish and the shelf has blended in well with the antique oak cabinet that sits next to it. I have used many different stains over the last 50 years but this is the best yet.

Good wood stain
I used this to stain pine scotia I bought at B&Q, I’m not too keen on the MDF scotia you can buy. It’s med oak and I gave it 2 coats, I’m happy with it. I used a sponge to apply it and used very little for a large room.

Not the colour I had in my head
It's not the colour I had in my head but, that's on me! It is a great and easy to use product. It can be a bit messy if you are not careful as it is a liquid. I used a big brush to cover maximum surface, was a little fiddley on the table legs otherwise would definitely use again
