Lobelia White Lady 12 Plug Plants - Summer Garden Ideal for Hanging Baskets

Lobelia White Lady is a beautiful low growing compact bedding plant. With dainty white flowers set above bronze-tined dark green leaves in the summer and autumn. This variety flowers from Summer all the way through till the autumn giving a continuous carpet of colour. This versatile variety is ideal for planting in borders, beds, containers even flower pouches. Height 15cm (5.9”) and Spread: 50cm (19”). Pot up Lobelia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Alternatively, plant plugs directly into flower pouches. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well-drained soil, in full sun. Feed and water lobelia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of lobelia flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
