Bought this to strip back a wooden floor and it's done an amazing job. 6hrs non stop sanding with no problem. You do go through a lot of belts but that's not the sanders fault, just buy in bulk off amazon and not £10 for 3 from B&Q!!

Has worked really well so far! Lots of skirting boards and door frames to sand, so hoping it will stand the test.
Good well made item

I bought one of these sanders about two years ago. I see these reviews while looking up the price of some belts. I have used this item quite a bit. Yes light sanding but heavy long use too. Working though several belts at a time. I wished to buy a Makita as is my power drills, jig saw etc but at some £300 to much. So I got one of the Mac units. Works well.
Durable and good value

Was disappointed by the reviews, but have previously found Mac Allister products to be fine. Bought one to sand back 50 sq m of decking, after five and a half hours non stop the job was done. No problems with the sander at all.

Used only twice for quick light DIY jobs and motor Burnt out. Took it back swapped for same sander and same happened on first use
