I had read the reviews, and despite them, decided to purchase.

Virtually zero assembly instructions, and broke it whilst assembling.

But wow, I have used extendable trimmers before, but this was heavy

Never got to cut a hedge, but it just needs assembly instructiuons, at least to give you a chance.

    It's a tool, not a toy

I don't understand all the negative comments!! This is a tool which does the job it's designed for. OK it's not light but no worse than previous tools of this type. Don't try to rush the job, take your time and it will be fine.

    Its ok

What ever clown designed this must be a world champion weightlifter or has never tried to use it .The motor and cutter are both on the end so it becomes like lifting a bag of cement the idiots should have put the motor at the handle end then you would only be lifting the cutter but that would be to easy ,they have also put a safety button that you have to push in before you can squeeze the trigger to run it but as your hand is at the wrong angle to press it when it is horizontal you have to tape it in to use it . DO NOT BUY IT SAVE YOUR MONEY .

Very heavy and hard on wrists

Bought today, thinking this looked a sturdy piece of equipment at an affordable price. I haven't tried a pole hedge trimmer before and I used it on a conifer today for the first time. I couldn't believe the weight of the trimmer on my wrists and I am a 13 stone bloke. Very tiring and requiring a lot of wrist strength. My wife could not handle it. It is difficult to use with the pole extended as the blade is liable to turn due to the excessive weight of the motor head. Not the safest practice considering you are holding it above head height. The job it did was average, maybe even a bit rough. Would probably take back if it wasn't all greened up now. It's probably going to be the tool I used once and rarely again, and will likely gather dust in the shed for years to come. Disappointed.
