Although I’ve only used this product once I have had a few pressure washers over the years. The patio cleaner isn’t anywhere near as powerful as a previous Karcher washer I had which was actually a much cheaper more basic product. There isn’t any storage for the accessories on the washer body, and the unit itself is 24kg which maybe a consideration if you aren’t strong or infirm. I like the fact that the pipe has a winder but the design of it isn’t great & requires hand guidance to spread the pipe across the reel.
Would I buy this product had I tested it prior to purchase? Definitely not.

Pro user, small landscaping business.
Bought originally on a whim as our big petrol one gave up the ghost and I needed a quick and cheap replacement for a job that day.
In all honesty I wasn’t expecting it to last long but after 3 years of heavy abuse and it’s still going strong. Some of the accessories like the patio brush are pretty naff and I did have to replace the pressure switch (couple of pounds online) but, we have knocked it about on scaffolding, its fallen down a set of concrete steps, I've dragged it around 50+ patio jobs, clean the cars and trucks weekly and recently I hammered it for 2 days solid to strip the bottom paint off my boat. It even fell (very briefly) in to a pond when one careless user (me) wasn't concentrating!
Once you get the hang of which nozzle to use where; it is as gentle as you need for car paint yet is able to strip 3 years of antifouling and barnacles off a yachts bottom.
Yes, you do have to replace the little O rings on the hose lance connector pretty regularly but that’s because it gets dragged through the muck when you’re winding the hose up at the end of the job. Maybe a little cap to clip on the end of the hose when the lance is disconnected would help reduce this?
In conclusion, I had little confidence at this price point but by golly has it paid for itself! I would have been happy if it had lasted a season with the ridiculous abuse it's had in my custody. It is easy to understand the frustrated reviewers who had early failings but I persevered and with a bit of know how and a couple of quid in spares this thing has completely surpassed my expectations. Well done and thank you MacAllister for saving me the ££££ to replace the old "professional" machine that threw its connecting rod out the side of the engine.
Absolute Rubbish don't buy!!

I bought this 18 months ago used twice to clean patio and paving, it suddenly stopped working, it's useless and not worth the money.
