Waste of money. Cut three lengths then crushed a couple, then would not go through a thing. Resorted to jigsaw.
Does not cut, waste of money

It cuts the first half and then just brakes off the corner. And need a lot of strengh to cut it.
Ok for cutting to length, nothing more

I can understand the negative reviews, however, it was worth me paying for it just to cut the planks to length, but be aware it doesn't give a clean cut and definitely won't cut along the length of the planks.
As many have said, the blade isn't sharp and the gap it cuts into is too wide, I may well try to modify it to increase its accuracy by sharpening it and repositioning, or possibly making new side 'anvil' pieces.
I undercut my skirting and architrave with a plunge saw so the boards slide underneath, so the cuts didn't need to be that clean or accurate as they're all hidden and can be up to 20mm under the skirting. It saved me a lot of time and effort with a saw so I was happy, and it justified the outlay as I was doing the landing, 4 bedrooms and ensuite without cutting thresholds so I'd say if it's a big job you need one, otherwise use a saw.
A cutter that doesn’t cut

Possibly the worst product I’ve ever bought. The first clue was that the product was half-assembled when I opened the box with an empty plastic bag inside, so had clearly already been returned. The instructions then state that the product doesn’t actually cut, but punches a strip of up to 10mm out of the laminate, a fact I’d already noticed when looking at the ‘blade’ - it’s just a lump of metal. It absolutely destroyed the first and only piece of laminate I attempted to ‘cut’, and the edge looked as you’d expect when it’s basically been crushed. Why the blade isn’t sharp I don’t know, but what I do know is that this is a complete waste of time and money. Avoid.

this piece of junk almost ruined my floor. The cuts are no where near straight. None of them. It cuts off line. A total waste of money. Avoid like the plague. I was ripped off
