The DML816 is based on the DML801 but features 7 pivot points rather than 6 and 18 LEDs rather than 12 giving it up to double the amount of light - 500 lumens of light vs 240.

The DML816 Makita 18v LXT Cordless LED Flashlight is both compact and portable to provide light to any project whether that be on the job site or in a garage.

This high-luminance 18 LED flashlight offers three modes in low, medium, and high to provide as little or as much light with multiple angles available to get the light where needed. Using one 6.0Ah 18v LXT battery (sold separately), it offers up to 75 hours of continuous runtime, a metal hook to transform it into an overhead light, and a rubberized handle for increased comfort. With multiple uses and its rugged construction, this flashlight will become an ideal addition to any workspace.
