The DTD154 heavy duty impact driver, with an ULTRA-COMPACT design at just 117mm long and the Brushless DC Motor make the DTD154 impact driver one of Makita's best tools to date. It has an electronic 3 stage impact power selector + TEK mode selection which prevents over tightening of fasteners. It's high rotational speed of 3,600rpm and max torque of 175Nm makes it one of the top performers in its class.
Model DTD154 is a Cordless Impact Driver powered by 18V Li-ion battery and developed based on DTD148.
