I purchased this item one week ago and I've just returned it. Batteries were dying after very little use and screws could only be secured with the drill function, the screwdriver setting didn't have the grunt for even 5x90 screws. B&Q no quibble guarantee? Kept at the till for ten or fifteen minutes whilst four assistants and one manager were consulted because the cardboard packaging was missing. I have other Makita tools and I really wasn't expecting to return a drill after only six days. I'm DIY not trade, I wasn't hard on the thing.
Battery charger faulty

When the batteries go on the charger it does not identify whether they are charging or charged. Back to the store I go. No way of telling if its any good otherwise so poor scored for all.

I bought this drill to replace a Bosch which was stolen . I had to take it back after a week. It had no drilling power at all it kept cutting out and overloading every time you drilled a hole. The batteries needed charging every 15 to 20 minutes. Very poor excuse for a drill.
Not fit for purpose
