Brilliant

This is my second one, first one broke after about two years of heavy commercial use. second one still going strong and being abused most days. starting can be a little tricky from warm and can cut out when being used for heavy work on a hot day. overall for the money they are great.
The strimmer is great

Bought this yesterday used on some heavy brush it did it with ease.
Easy to assemble, easy to start, handles easily not heavy when using the harness.
Very happy

I originally purchased the B & Q own brand, which broke. Then got this model. It’s was great for three months. Today it started fine, but noticed a rattle, switched it off to check it, went to start it again, pull cord will not engage. Taking it back tomorrow
Crank shaft weakness

For my birthday I decided I would treat myself after looking over all the models and specs I opted for this one. Was easy to assemble, perfect weightbalance and started first time so all onto a good start here for me...then on the 5th time of using it the crank shaft recoil wasn't working I took it back and they swapped for the same model again set it all up and was on a roll now less than 6 months after purchasing the same thing has happened heard a crackle then wouldn't start again. I feel the main part has been made with weak materials and doesn't hold up, now I do have the receipt but as I've already returned once it would seem I need to invest in another model.
dont waste your money

bought September 2018 used 3 times then stopped working. had it inspected at repair shop, told it wad a scored piston. Mcculloch refused to repair or replace it. told that i have run it without oil in, which is not the case.
