'Arete' is the Greek Goddess of Excellence and this was their aim throughout the design process. It is their most energy efficient and quietest dehumidifier yet, winning the prestigious Which? Best Buy and Red Dot Design awards.

Arete's control panel is easy to use and gives you complete control. With large buttons for the most-used functions, you can control the unit with a single touch of a single button - particularly for Smart Humidity Control and Smart Laundry. It's uncomplicated and efficient.

Sleep easy with the Night Mode. Every light turns off, the fan speed changes to the quietest low mode and there are no random noises. And, with a child lock function, you won't have to worry about the Night Mode (or any mode) being accidentally turned off.

We know that the thing you do most often is empty the water tank. The Meaco team have made sure that the large 4.8 litre tank was easy to empty without too much effort and without spillage. An integrated carry handle means you can just pick it up and empty it out. As an extra design feature, they've also added a pouring spout on the left and right side, so there's no need for twisting or changing hands to pour out the water. Arete also has a hose adaptor which allows you to hook up and standard garden hose to the unit for continuous drainage.

Cleaning the air in your home. Meaco wanted Arete to be useful all year round. So every Arete One dehumidifier includes a H13 HEPA filter, a 75% bigger and better quality HEPA filter. This is a medical-grade filter that cleans the air during dehumidification, and can also be used as a stand-alone purifier as well.
