Poor Quality

I bought this despite the negative reviews on here but wished I’d taken more notice. Upon opening the box I found 4 of the 12 slats were damaged/split. I mean BIG chunks out of the wood, not little chips. There is clearly no quality control wherever these are made.
Returned for a refund with no fuss but still wish I’d heeded the reviews.

A good bench for the money. A coat of varnish certainly improves the lock. One or two pieces of wood have a twist to them that this can be less and when they are bolted in place. Overall pleased with the product

The varnish/wood will weather very quicky. Water will gather within the metal frame, this will stain any patio or decking area once it leaks out.

Nice bench for the price. One panel slightly split but not worth returning as doesn't cause any issues.
