BE WARNED !!!

Despite the one star rating this is an EXCELLENT PRODUCT, it's just let down massively by the ridiculous sticky label. If you don't have time and access to some heavy duty solvent you will definitely be cursing this item and probably B&Q as well. There are about ten reviews on this page and I think they all mention the same problem. I bought one about two years ago and just got on with it without complaining, just a lot of swearing to myself. I had hoped B&Q would have taken note and done something about it but obviously not. BE WARNED you will have this problem. B&Q please sort this out!
Comes ruined due info Sticker

This wooden bar is a nice quality but it’s ruined by the fact that the label is stick onto the face.
Not only does it not come off cleanly (I had to use a scraper and then sand it down) but the glue from the sticker leaves a dark stain.
It’s supposed to save time and leave a good finish but does neither.
I also wrongly expected it to come with screws or some sort of fixing mechanism but it doesn’t - you have to glue it in place.
Ruined as sticker stuck to front

Product would have been great had the barcode information stuck to the wood itself. Took longer to get the label off than it did to lay the threshold! Poor design! Needs sorting!

Ruined by by barcode sticker on good face of woo. Took longer to get the sticker off than fight wood. Total waste of time.
Great product. Let down by the sticky label

Bought 6 of these for a customers job. It took me longer to get the sticky labels off than to lay the whole floor, skirting and archatrive. Virosol and a scouring pad soon brought it off.
Product is brilliant. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put the labels in that position wants to stop sniffing glue
