I bought this drill bit costing £10 to do a job in my flat for which not only I was quoted £220 but they never turned out to do it. It worked well with my Ryobi SDS batery operated drill

I looked all over the store at Stirling I saw a lot of drill bits in the sale ranging from £5 upwards but couldn't find one this size enentually I found the large bit in a basket I was a little shocked to see the price I needed the bit for a job on my greenhouse. So disputed price I bought it.When I got home I did the job.i was annoyed to get a message about price reductions on products over £25 the drill bit did its job but made the work expensive.

      Did the job perfectly!

We have recently moved into a new home, and it has a lovely fireplace, so we decided to buy a nice electric fire (also from B&Q) that now sits in the fireplace, looking mighty grand! However, we had to run the power cable out of the front of the fireplace and into an extension cable, which didn't look grand, so I decided to drill through the side of the fireplace to put the cable through. Bearing in mind, we are talking about 3 bricks deep, it was obvious that my existing drill bits were not going to cut the mustard (whatever that means) so I measured up, popped along to B&Q, bought the right size drill bit, came home and drilled through the fireplace! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, and before too long, the fire was working and there were no cables in sight! Perfect. Thank you B&Q, for the drill bit and for the fire.
